A Blast from the Past: The Corolla Hatchback Gets Rowdy with New FX Edition
For the 2026 model year, the Corolla Hatchback welcomes the FX edition into the fold, igniting the spirit of the legendary FX16. This special edition masterfully blends nostalgic charm with contemporary dynamism, injecting a dose of bold athleticism into the already spirited Corolla Hatchback.
Based on the SE grade, the Corolla Hatchback FX adds a black vented sport wing for aggressive flair and improved aerodynamics. The 18-inch gloss white-finished alloy wheels with black lug nuts give an unexpected wow factor. Other stylish features include a heritage-inspired rear badge reminiscent of the original FX16 from the 80s.
Under the hood of the Corolla Hatchback FX Edition is the 2.0-liter Dynamic-Force direct-injection inline four-cylinder engine that delivers 169 horsepower at 6,600 rpm and 151 lb-ft. peak torque at 4,800 rpm. Additionally, this hatchback provides a nimble ride and has a manufacturer-estimated 33 combined MPG rating.

Ford Reports First Quarter 2025 Financial Results
• First-quarter revenue of $40.7 billion; net income of $471 million; adjusted EBIT of $1 billion; operating cash flow was $3.7 billion, adjusted free cash flow was a use of $1.5 billion
• Improvements in cost and quality favorably contributed to performance in the quarter
• The company estimates a tariff-related net adverse adjusted EBIT impact of about $1.5 billion for full year 2025, subject to ongoing tariff-related policy developments
• Due to tariff-related uncertainty, company suspends financial guidance, including full year adjusted EBIT and adjusted free cash flow
Ford Motor Company (NYSE: F) today announced its firstquarter 2025 financial results. “We are strengthening our underlying business with significantly better quality and our third straight quarter of year-over-year cost improvement, excluding the impact of tariffs,” said Ford President and CEO Jim Farley. “Ford Pro, our largest competitive advantage, is off to a strong start to the year, gaining market share in the most profitable U.S. and European customer segments.”

American Honda Posts Multiple April Sales Records Powered by New Models and Improving Supply
- Honda brand sales totaled 123,637 in April, up 16.6% for the month, 8.5% for the year, with passenger cars, light trucks and electrified models posting sales gains across the lineup
- Honda light trucks posted April sales of 88,807 units, up 24% YoY
- CR-V continued to lead all Honda models in sales with 41,483 units for its best month of April ever, with hybrid sales mix over 53%
- Pilot sales of more than 12,000 were up 2.3% YoY
- All-new Passport posted its record April sales, with 5,457 units, up 98.9% in April
- HR-V posted strong April sales of 13,912 as the gateway Honda CUV, up 6.7% year to date and its best April ever
- Odyssey sales of 9,677 units were up 32.1% YoY, for its best April in 9 years
- Honda set an all-time April record for sales of electrified vehicles with 38,785 units, led by hybrid-electric models with Civic sales over 34% hybrid, CR-V over 53% hybrid and Accord topping 60% hybrid mix. Sales of the all-electric Prologue SUV reached 1,847 units
- Civic led Honda passenger cars on sales of 23,553 units, with Civic hybrid achieving a record April and its second-best month of all-time

Nissan’s Invisible Hood View tech named ‘Best New Feature’ by Texas Auto Writers Association
Nissan's Invisible Hood View technology1 helps drivers spot hidden obstacles in everyday situations and has been named 'Best New Feature' by the Texas Auto Writers Association (TAWA). Tested in the 2025 Nissan Armada at TAWA's annual Texas Auto Roundup event, the system provides drivers with a virtual view through the engine bay, making it easier to navigate car wash tracks, avoid curbs and see hazards that are normally out of sight. This recognition underlines how Nissan develops intuitive technologies that deliver real-world value and convenience to customers.
Invisible Hood View helps drivers spot obstacles ahead of the vehicle by providing a virtual view "through" the engine bay on the in-cabin infotainment screen. The system uses exterior-mounted cameras to deliver a simpler view of what is ahead and below the driver's line of sight. It simplifies spotting obstacles such as obscured curbs in the drive-through lane, metal tracks when entering a car wash and rocks and other hazards when off-roading. Invisible Hood View is available in the 2025 Nissan Armada, 2025 Rogue and 2025 Murano.

Wrangler 4xe is the best-selling plug-in hybrid electric vehicle in the U.S. It delivers Jeep brand’s legendary capability, signature styling and open-air freedom, enhanced with innovative powertrain technology.
